Timeline of St. James Marketplace

St. James Marketplace is located in a school, which is on the National Registry of Historic Places. It includes a farmers market/hand made craft area and history room.
St. James, located 1/4 mi North of Scenic Highway 12, is 4 mi on scenic road from Missouri River and Goat Island where Pvt. George Shannon was lost on the Lewis & Clark expedition.
Be sure to check out the carved Shannon Statue in Wynot.

Come to our area and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
We offer tours of the marketplace, showing off our pioneer history. Along the Lewis & Clark Trail,
you will be sure to learn more about the
Corps of Discovery and the Shannon Trail.

Located 1 1/4 miles east of Wynot Spur on Hwy 12 & 1/4 mile north. From Vermillion/Newcastle bridge on Hwy 12, drive 12 miles west to St. James turnoff. Watch for our signs.
